Located just off El Camino Real, The King’s Highway, near Crockett, Texas, Red Creek Ranch has been a working cattle and timber enterprise since the mid 1800's. There are authentic buildings on the property, stocked ponds, hiking trails, even a Confederate soldier's grave. Visitors can enjoy the peaceful seclusion of the woods, creeks, and fields or visit the  many local attractions in East Texas.

There are four guest houses available.  Two of them, The Homestead and The Lake House, are seated on Red Creek Ranch.  Another, The Smith House, is a luxurious Bed-and-Breakfast located near the town square in Crockett.  The fourth, our newest addition, Pecan Springs, is its own secluded hideaway situated between the ranch and town.

The Ranch lies just 5 miles from the 160,000-acre Davy Crockett National Forest, and just a few miles from Ratcliff Lake.  Numerous other parks and lakes–including Houston County Lake, where the fishing is incredible!–are within minutes of town.  Our guests come from far and wide to hear real cowboy music at The Camp Street Cafe in downtown Crockett, see the World Championship Fiddler’s Contest in June, or attend the Peanut Festival in Grapeland every October.

If you’re coming to Crockett to visit family, explore the Piney Woods, or just get away, why stay in a hotel?  From luxury suites to comfort camping, we can accommodate any taste!
